PURE LOVE [Monica Brown, Pensacola Newborn Photographer]

I am sitting here trying to find the words...

We have waited so long for you, sweet Hailey Grace.

My dear, you have the most [awesome] hair. Ever.

Savannah is going to be such a great big sister.
Right now she is just learning to talk, so Hailey is simply *ba-by*.

I really can't decide which is my favorite, but the one above is in the top 2.

She is soooo dainty. Her newborn clothes swallowed her.
Remember this dress?

What a beautiful family.
MY FAMILY.
Can you believe it Wendy? We both have two amazing children that God has blessed us with. And our Jakes :)
I love you more than I know how to say. You have always been there for me and I know I can call you anytime...although now it may take you longer to return the calls.
Enjoy your family. These baby days seem really long, but the weeks will seem short. Hailey will look different by the time I can order your prints and get them back to you. She is a miracle, as is Savannah.
Oh, I wish I lived closer! I can't wait to visit again!

All my love,
me

HANDMADE WITH LOVE [Monica Brown, Pensacola Photographer]

Isn't this just darling?

We visited Jake's grandparents over the holiday weekend and his grandmother sent me home with this.

If you follow my blog, you have seen photos of my cousin Wendy and her growing family. Baby Hailey is due any day so when we were over Grandma took me back to her sewing room and showed me three of the loveliest crocheted dresses you have ever seen. One was pink and the other was yellow, but I could not take my eyes off of this one.

look at how perfect each and every stitch is

and the back

I will be taking Hailey's newborn photos soon, and rest assured she will make an appearance in this sweet dress.
I can't wait!

Thank you again, Grandma, for such a thoughtful gift :)

And just a side note: I took these images in the rocking chair that my mother rocked me in when I was a baby. My big sister very lovingly replaced the seat of the rocker before Reagan was born so that I could rock my daughter in this beautiful chair. Thanks Big Sissy.

I love how you can just [breath in] the newness.

the JOY of becoming parents is indescribable.
they are such a beautiful family!

Molly (the four-legged family member) had to get in on the action too!
She was so excited for her close-up!

sweet moments with momma and daddy

and then little Ellie was all tuckered out.

I am so grateful to have met the King family and to have been a part of their first family photos. These images will remind them of when..and hopefully always brighten their day.

SUMMER SWEETNESS [Monica Brown, Pensacola Newborn Photographer]

So sweet.

I love the tiny features of a newborn. I no longer think newborns look just like "babies." They each have their unique features that separates them from all others. Daddy's hair. Mommy's nose. They are each so special and so loved.

Grandma's quilt was a wonderful addition to our session. The images taken with it are some of my favorite. Look for them on the website soon.

Ahhh....Babies are such a nice way to start people :)

Mike and Sandra - she is simply stunning! Thank you for the opportunity to photograph your new [family!]

TWO IS WONDERFUL! [Monica Brown, Pensacola Newborn Photographer]

Being in the military is... many things.
Adventurous. You never know where you are going next.
Fun. You meet SO MANY wonderful people along the way that become friends that you never lose touch with.
Sad. When moving on to another adventure, you leave some of those great people behind. Or they move first, and that is sad too.
Fun Again! You both move near each other again!

When we moved to Pensacola, I knew we had friends that lived "near." I wasn't exactly sure where near was, and I was too tired to find out since we moved when Reagan had just turned 2 and Luke was 5 weeks old. Well, we finally met up with our friends who were "near" and it turns out they are super close!!!

And now that our kids are getting older, if you can call 2 and 4 older, we can get together, have a meal in somewhat peace and the kids just play! Amazing! Although one little one is not nearly anything we can call old. She was just born last week.

Look who just became a Big Sister!

Stella is so lucky to have a super cool big sis. Looks like Gigi has lots of toys to teach Stella to play with!

Welcome baby Stella!

I think this is the definition of [passed out.]

She will wake up to play with us when she gets a bit bigger :)

I just LOVE the absolute newness of a newborn.
I am very adamant that newborn photos be taken in the first week of birth. How else will you remember just how tiny they once were? The tiny bits of peeling skin tell you just how new she really is.

Thank you again, Brent & Amy, for allowing me to photograph your family. It was my pleasure!

A BRAND NEW ANGEL (PART 2) [Monica Brown, Pensacola Photographer]

Oh, the sweetness of a newborn.

The pure peacefulness.

The one above was mama's favorite. And the other day I got this beautiful birth announcement in the mail.

[J] and [S] - she is beautiful. Truly amazing. Treasure every moment. They change SO FAST the first year. It is a wonder to witness :)
