So here's what I'm thinking...

I came to the realization earlier this week that a lot of you have new cameras...and have no idea how to use them!  I know you are probably just shooting in auto mode, but if you desire more creativity and flexibility with your images, have I got the deal for you!  I will be hosting a FREE question and answer photography "workshop"  next month.  Nothing formal or classroom-like...just casual with open dialog.  Bring your camera, manual, and list of questions and by the time you leave you will have a much better understanding of what and your camera together are capable of!!

What:  FREE photography "workshop"
When:  Friday, June 13, 6pm until?
Where:  My home/studio

Please RSVP if you are interested.  Since I am hosting this at my home/studio space is limited to 20 attendees.  I also cannot handle a large group because I would lose one-on-one time with each of you.

What you should do to prepare:
1.  READ YOUR CAMERA'S MANUAL COVER TO COVER
2.  Play around with your camera between now and then.
3.  Make a list of questions that you may have.  No question is stupid or too simple.  If you don't know the answer, most of the people in the room probably don't either!
3.  Come ready to learn and have fun!

What will be covered (general):
Aperture
Shutter Speed
ISO
composition
lenses/equipment

Door Prizes:
free 5x7
free 8x10
free 11x14

Please call 253.891.4061 or email me at info@brownphotographystudio.com
if you are interested!  I look forward to hearing from you!

Little miss sunshine ;)

Here is my FAV pic from our trip to Charleston and the beach with Reagan. She looks so cute in her little hat with her super bright bucket! We had so much fun splashing in the water and enjoying the sun ;)

And so it begins...

As I hardly have time to complete any project these days, I have decided to take on a new one!  Hooray!  I thought it would be nice to include a blog with my photography website so that clients can get early previews of their images and get to know me better.  Here we go!
