THE BOYS [Monica Brown, Pensacola Photographer]

Oh my goodness. It was SO HARD to choose which images from this session to post! I think I narrowed it down to maybe 20 or so! I just love the photographs from this downtown session with the [R] boys. It was a family/senior shoot. All the boys names start with [A]...so Oldest [A] graduates from high school this year so we got some solo shots for his senior pics. LOVE THEM. Can't wait to add them to the website. The "looks" are great. Of course, we took some family shots too.

I just have to post this one again...because it was my FAVORITE of the day.

And this is my favorite of the boys. If you look closely, you will see Littlest [A]'s buddy...over to the right...there.

I love being able to capture kids (and young men) just as they are. I am so pleased when clients take my advice and come to the session just as they are.

My favorite shot of oldest [A]. The colors in this photo just make me smile.

TOTALLY love the dynamic with these boys! I think it is so sweet how Oldest [A] has his big hand all over Littlest [A]'s head and is leaning on Middle [A]'s shoulder. These are the shots I treasure most.

The prize at the end of the session.

The only taker was Littlest [A] (imagine that!). He had a blast!

[C] and [B], your boys are so handsome and polite. I had a wonderful time!

LITTLE LENI BUG ;) [Monica Brown, Pensacola Photographer]

So I am waaaaaay behind on blogging.

These photos have been in my head since I pressed the shutter. I had so much fun rolling around on the floor with little Leni...and I just have to say...I LOVE her room! The colors were fantastic. And to top it all off, she is wearing one of her Mommy's outfits from when she was little. Sigh.

And how can you resist this SMILE????

I [heart] happy babies :)

again, I was in love with her room and the colors. I had to find a way to incorporate them into a photo. Wah-lah! (the butterflies are so cute!)

HELLO! This one just may be my favorite!

So glad to call this little gal my neighbor. I am going to enjoy watching you grow as the days pass.

WHAT MATTERS MOST [Monica Brown, Pensacola Photographer]

I have been doing my BEST to SLOOOOOW DOOOOOOWN this Christmas Season.

I know. Everyone does...but ends up being "busy."

Have you ever stopped to think about just what it is that you are doing? How you are prioritizing things? People??? Well, I hadn't really. Until lately. I realized I was putting unimportant things, really, in front of other things and more importantly PEOPLE that mattered most. What a wake up call.

I'm not trying to be preachy here, except to myself, because I deserved it. I have to say, now that I have a better perspective, I have not been in front of this computer hardly at all. Just to get final client promises taken care of. And now to post some photos I took of the kiddos the other night in their cutie Christmas jammies :) I used my new Canon 5D Mark II (jaw dropping capabilities!!!). I am very thankful for a husband who is soooooo supportive of my "work." :) Thanks honey!!!

**these photos are totally unedited. Straight out of the box. LOVE this camera!
for you photogs - night, no flash, and ISO 4000! (again, jaw dropping!) Hardly any grain! My old camera doesn't even go this high, and is a total grainstorm at ISO 800.

Here are my JOYS

f 2.8 at 1/60 with ISO 4000!

Luuuuke! you messed up the bow!

I just can't believe how good these turned out with those settings! This is my new "point and shoot!"

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas!!

Monica
