Football Day

It is Saturday and that means "Football Day" (according to Reagan) around our house.  We are all in our BAMA attire and ready to cheer :)

Woll Tide!

I have a feeling Reagan is going to be Papa's little girl.  Every time he calls she greets him with a Woll Tide and Doh BAMA Doh!  If only every grandparent could be so proud :)

Reagan loves her "elephant feet"  shorts!  They are actually bloomers to her Bama dress, but wearing a dress decreases her mobility and she needs to run around and jump A LOT during the game.

We all can't wait to be closer to SWEET HOME ALABAMA.  We move in 23 days!!!

Sneak peek :)

I have been hard at work with pictures for the last week.  I took sooooooo many that it is taking me *extra long* to edit them.  I just LOVE baby pics in B&W so that is how most of them are ending up.  Here are just a few...

Our sweet boy

this is one of my very favorites.  I'll be printing a large one of this.  Daddy and son, how sweet.

I'm just stealing some kisses.  Baby kisses are soooooo yummy!

Daddy and Reagan having some fun :)

Well, it is night-night time and both kids are screaming, so I will post more pictures later :)

Night-night

What a week :)

It has been such a wonderful 7 days ;)  Luke turns 1 week old in just a couple of hours and how wonderfully our lives have changed.  He is such a blessing and Reagan has been the best big sister we could ask for!

Luke's first GameDay.  We don't have any newborn BAMA gear so he was decked out with his BAMA burp cloth that our friend Christine made for him.  He also has an awesome BAMA taggie blanket that she made as well.  He will be sporting that for years to come :)

Loving eyes for daddy

Reagan's first time to hold Luke!  She did such a great job!!
She looked at the picture right after I took it and said "tazy hair!"  Her curly hair goes everywhere in the mornings :)

She has become quite the cheeser since we brought Luke home.  Before, I couldn't get her to look at the camera for anything.  Now she sees me getting it and immediately starts cheesing.

This week has brought so much joy to us.  Thank you again for all of your well wishes!!  Keep checking back for pictures!

{*Pictures!!*}

Good grief!  First of all, does anyone have any better luck with a different blog site?????  I have been trying to post these pictures all day, and one thing or another has gone wrong with the blogger site.  I would LOVE any recommendations.

On to the more important news, we are all doing well.  We are nice and settled in at home now and enjoying a wonderful week of weather :)  We are even going to hit 80 by Sunday!  Summer is still here!!  The sunshine has been great as we have not been out of the house much.  Reagan has had so much extra energy that Jake took her to the park yesterday to burn some off.  She needed some daddy time.  She is talking like nobody's business now.  Complete sentences and tells you about *everything*.  It is so fun watching her interact with Luke.

Here are a few pictures from the hospital.  I will be working on some better pictures of Luke the next few days as he has his eyes open more.

Mom's first time holding Luke.  What a sweet picture :)

When Jake went home to get Reagan and mom to visit me and Luke, Reagan was just so tired that she just couldn't make it.  She didn't even wake up getting out of the truck and making their way to the room.

She's awake!  Reagan meeting Luke for the first time :)

"MY baby Luke" she said.

{*Breathing a sigh of RELIEF*}

The last couple of days has been quite stressful.  The morning we were supposed to be discharged Luke awakened us at 5:30 am by spitting up a large amount of bright red blood.  The next few hours were filled with great concern, but in the end ALL IS WELL.  He has had no more indications of blood in his stomach and happily spitting up like every other baby now :)  The doctor said that newborns sometimes hold a material in a secret special pocket of their stomach to show to us later (translation - there is no way to explain it).  As long as he has been acting like a normal newborn ever since (he never even cried afterward) he is just fine.  He is now eating well and *we have ourselves a sleeper!!!!*  Hooray!  Jake and I have been able to sleep well all things considered.  We still wake up with his every noise until we feel we are safely out of the woods and can sleep through some of the grunts.  We were discharged from the hospital late last night and then visited the pediatrician this morning for a follow up.  We are all together at home now and getting settled in.  Reagan was *ecstatic* last night when we arrived.  I have never seen her JUMP so much.  She was so happy she was just running in circles until she wore herself out.  Mom is a Godsend.  Without her we would be on no sleep.  Reagan just has too much energy for us right now!

I will post some pictures soon.  I can't wait to see them either :)

Thank you for all of your well wishes!!

{*Baby Luke*}

Here is our handsome baby boy!!! We are all doing so well. We go home tomorrow since I had him so late last night. I always thought I would have him at the end of August, but I never guessed 51 minutes before the end of the month! Reagan was so sweet meeting *brudder yuke* today. She gave him kisses and rubbed him in his blanket. She is going to be a wonderful big sister :)

We have taken lots of photos but the internet connection here is too slow to upload the large images. I was working on it a lot today, getting a little frustrated, and then I remembered that in the last 36 hours I have had a baby and only 3 hours of sleep so I will let the need to post pictures go to the wayside and I am about to go to bed. We will be posting more pictures once we get home and settled.

{*Healthy Baby Boy*}

Mom arrived not a moment too soon. We picked her up from the airport around 11am and we had a healthy baby boy delivered at 11:09pm!
