{*And so it begins...}*

Saturday, 10:30 pm

Labor, you may ask?  Well, just a little.  I have been having sporadic contractions the last couple of days.  But as my mom gets here in a matter of hours, I am trying to convince Luke it isn't quite time just yet.  What I am referring to is the best time of the year - College football season :)  It was *wonderful* and, for the first time, actually relaxing to watch Alabama play a top 10 team and simply CREAM them.  No stress to send me into labor!  Reagan really got into it too.  "Woll Tide!"  she would amazing say right on cue.  I know she can't understand football yet, but maybe she just reads my emotion and body language to know when we are doing well.  At least my yelling doesn't scare her this year :)  She just chimes right in!
 And just let me say, ROLL TIDE ROLL!

#24 Alabama - 34
#9 Clemson - 10

What a well played game.  Keep it up guys!!

So, no stress, but somehow I am in labor!  I have woken up with contractions that are getting pretty regular :)  Today I do believe is the day!  My mom still doesn't get here for 4 more hours so we will see if we make it to the airport to get her or our neighbor does!  Gotta go...can't stand up or breathe very well right now...

*Summertime fun :) *

I have finally had time to download all of the pics from our trip home in July!  I am trying my best to get everything done before baby Luke arrives :)  Here is a sampling of the fun we had! (Keep in mind these are snapshots and by no means "professional" pics, so don't expect anything too fancy!)

Reagan watching her favorite movie on the plane.  Jake was thoughtful enough to put her baby einstein movies on our iPod to decrease the boredom of our 12 hour travel day.  We got up at 3:30 am PST to hit the road!  Reagan is always such a great traveler :)

Reagan with a *HUGE* 32 oz smoothie.  I have never seen a look like this on her face!  How funny!!

Playing in the sand at the beach. What fun!

Cheese!  Reagan enjoying some of her *flip flop* birthday cake at her party.  She was shy at the party, but ever since she has been talking about it and singing "Happy Bir-day to Way-dee!"

"Scanning"  Papa with my new toy.
Reagan got a scanner with a game that lights up and makes a noise each time you press the button.  Jake says thanks, Jason ;)  Reagan thought it was a riot if you danced around when she scanned you.

Swimming in the "whool."  Reagan had so much fun watching Zack go UNDER.  It is her favorite preposition now.  She just *loves* going "under" the doorways each night after a bath.  Jake puts her on his shoulder and they duck under each one while she belly laughs the whole time :)

Just hanging out with grandma and grandpa before we fly home.  Today (July 16) is my birthday!!  I'm 2!!

{*about that time *}

Well, it has gotten to be that time.  I am officially finished with photography for now (at least the business end of it).   I am still taking tons of pics of Reagan while the weather is so great and we are enjoying the great outdoors.  Two days in a row of the swimming pool!  I believe we are the tannest we have ever been (in WA, that is).   We are now counting the days until our little one arrives (due Sept 7) and getting things ready.  We are also still working on selling our home so that we can make the move to *Pensacola, FL* this November.  If you know anyone moving to this area that is in need of a nice home settled right in the middle of Mayberry (Sumner), have them take a look. (Military by Owner site).
We have really enjoyed living in such a small town that is so close to everything big.  Wagon rides around the block to see the sheep.  Yes, I said sheep!  They no longer cut the grass around the retention pond near the massive park complex, they have placed two sheep to graze to keep it under control.  We visit the sheep almost daily.  It is like a mini version of the zoo :)

Well that is all from here for now.  I am doing my best to make blogging a habit so that when little one arrives I will be in the practice of posting updates and pics...and there will be LOTS of pics!

*{Silly monkey!}*

We took a fun trip to the Zoo this Saturday along with our friends the O's (see pics from last post).  Reagan has been talking about little D and all of the animals ever since!  Her favorite animals are the elephants and monkeys.  Too bad we couldn't get any pics of the elephants...they were inside getting "baths."  But the monkeys were out and about swinging and jumping and playing about.  She really got a kick out of it!

Cheeeeeese!

Playing around with daddy :)

{*An afternoon in the park*}

What a lovely afternoon!  I am so thankful for this wonderful weather.  Here is a sneak peek from my session yesterday with the O's.  Little D is growing up so fast!
